Five Nights at Freddy's: Afton's Nightmare is a survival horror game inspired by the dark story of William Afton and the terrifying animatronics from the FNAF universe. Although it may attract players searching for a William Afton Simulator, the game focuses on surviving a night shift while Springtrap, Baby, and other threats roam nearby. Monitor security cameras, listen for footsteps, and hide before the animatronics find you.

HOW TO PLAY FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY'S: AFTON'S NIGHTMARE

Your main task is to monitor the animatronics and avoid being caught. You have a security tablet to check different camera feeds, but watching the screens is not always enough to keep you safe.

Monitor the Security Cameras: Use your tablet to switch between camera feeds and track Springtrap and Baby. Pay attention to their positions because an empty screen may mean an animatronic has moved closer to your room.
Hide Under the Desk: When an animatronic disappears from its camera, put the tablet away and quickly hide under the desk. Stay there until its footsteps stop before returning to the cameras.
Listen for Warning Sounds: Audio cues help you judge how close the creatures are. Springtrap and Baby can approach without giving you much time to react, while Freddy may appear unexpectedly.
Survive Until Morning: Keep checking the cameras, recognize each threat, and choose the right moment to hide. One careless move can leave you vulnerable to a sudden jumpscare.

The challenge comes from balancing two actions: watching the animatronics and protecting yourself. Hiding keeps you out of sight, but you cannot monitor their movements while under the desk. You must therefore rely on what you see and hear to decide when it is safe to come back out.
