HOW TO SURVIVE NIGHT SHIFTS IN FNAF 2 WITHOUT DOORS
Your objective is to survive each seven-minute shift from 12 AM to 6 AM, with each in-game hour lasting 70 seconds. Since the office has no doors, use the Freddy mask, flashlight, and music box wisely to stay alive.
- Use the Freddy Mask: Put on the mask when most animatronics enter your office to trick them into leaving. It does not work against Withered Foxy or The Puppet, so react carefully to these threats.
- Check the Hallway With Your Flashlight: The hallway directly in front of your office has no camera. Use your flashlight to check for approaching animatronics and repel Withered Foxy. Your battery is limited, so avoid wasting it.
- Keep the Music Box Wound: Open CAM 11 at Prize Corner and wind the box regularly before the timer runs out. Keeping The Puppet contained is essential to surviving the night.
- Check Both Ventilation Shafts: Use the left and right vent lights to look for animatronics before raising the camera. These lights do not drain your flashlight battery. Watch out for Balloon Boy and Mangle, as failing to handle them properly can make survival much harder.

Explore Extra Content in FNAF 2
Beyond the main night shifts, the game includes extra challenges, hidden events, and several endings for players who want to discover more.

- FNAF 2 Minigames and Hidden Secrets: Special 8-bit sequences can appear after repeated deaths, including SAVE THEM, which reveals more of the game's dark history. Rare screens may also feature hidden characters such as Golden Freddy. For another secret, enter the FNAF 2 1987 code by setting Freddy to 1, Bonnie to 9, Chica to 8, and Foxy to 7 in Custom Night.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this the full version of Five Nights at Freddy's 2?
Yes. This complete fan-made browser version includes Nights 1–5, Night 6, and Custom Night with 10 preset challenges. You can also discover Golden Freddy, Phone Guy calls, four minigames, rare screens, and three endings.
Does FNAF 2 save my progress?
Yes, progress saves automatically in your browser when storage is available. Clearing browser data may erase your save.
Can I play FNAF 2 on my phone?
Yes. Mobile and tablet play are supported, with landscape mode recommended.
How long does one night last?
Each night lasts seven minutes. The Fast Nights cheat reduces it to three minutes and 30 seconds.
Why doesn't the office have doors?
The office follows the design of FNAF 2, where doors are not available for protection. Instead, you have to use the Freddy mask to fool most animatronics and the flashlight to deal with threats such as Withered Foxy.
How do I unlock Custom Night?
First, complete Night 5 to unlock Night 6. Once you finish Night 6, Custom Night becomes available. It lets you adjust animatronic difficulty and choose from 10 preset challenges.
How can I access the secret minigames?
You cannot select the minigames directly from the menu. Each time you die, there is a one-in-ten chance of entering a hidden minigame. These 8-bit sequences include SAVE THEM and other scenes connected to the game's story.
How do I encounter Golden Freddy?
Golden Freddy may appear on Night 6 or in Custom Night. You can also trigger the FNAF 2 1987 code by setting Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy to 1, 9, 8, and 7.
Do cheats affect game rewards?
Yes. Completing a night with cheats enabled does not award stars or reward items, and it does not unlock Custom Night. Turn off the cheats if you want to earn the normal rewards and progress through the game
Do I need to download FNAF 2 to play?
No. This version runs directly in your web browser, so you can start playing from the game page without installing a separate application.
Is FNAF 2 scary? Is it suitable for children?
The game contains jumpscares, loud sounds, and flashing lights. An opening warning alerts players to these effects. Anyone sensitive to sudden scares or flashing visuals should take care before playing.
