Block Blast
Block Blast is a casual puzzle game from Hungry Studio built around an 8×8 board and colorful block pieces. Instead of controlling a character or racing against a clock, you shape the board with each placement and decide how much open space to preserve. Its simple rules make it easy to start, while the search for better scores gives each round a reason to keep improving.
HOW TO PLAY BLOCK BLAST
The main task is to place the available blocks on the 8×8 grid and complete full horizontal rows or vertical columns. Once a line is filled, it clears from the board and creates room for new placements. There is no falling-block system like traditional Tetris, so you control where each piece goes and can take time to consider your next move.
Keep these points in mind while playing:
- Look beyond one move: A piece may fit perfectly now but leave awkward gaps for later blocks.
- Protect open space: Avoid filling the center or corners without considering how future shapes can fit around them.
- Build combos: Clearing multiple lines through carefully planned placements can increase your score and extend a strong run.
The Board Is Your Main Challenge
There are no enemies or combat sections to manage. The difficulty comes from limited space and the need to make every placement work with the shapes that follow. As the board becomes crowded, an apparently useful space can become difficult to use, so planning several moves ahead becomes increasingly important.
